As Founder and Managing Principal, Jack is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project acquisition, financial analysis, project management, and lender and investor relations. As co-founder of Fulcrum Architecture D.P.C., Jack acts as Project Architect overseeing the design production process.

Prior to founding Fulcrum, Jack worked as a Project Architect with RKT&B and later at the award-winning Steven Winter and Associates, which specializes in sustainable design. His clients included large national homebuilders, New York City affordable housing developers, and government agencies such as HUD and NYSERDA.

He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago and holds a Master’s of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.

With over 20 years of experience in multi-family & mixed-use design in Florida, California & New York, Chien Dao brings exceptional design and construction expertise to the Fulcrum team. He oversees all aspects of design development and construction for each of Fulcrum’s projects.

Chien Dao holds an MArch from the University of California at Berkley, maintains licenses in California, Florida, and New York, and is a member of the AIA and National Arts Club.

He is also the founder and owner of Chien Dao Studio based in New York City.
